In the beginning there was no such words as “possibility and impossibility”. Nature was in its neutral form. Then humans came and coined the words ”possibility and impossibility”. Man went ahead to give meaning to these words, the things he can do at the moment such as tilling the land, hunting, riding on donkeys and horses etc, he termed possible and the things he cannot do at the moment such as traveling through the air, having electronics and electricity, automobiles etc he termed impossible.
Then as man grows and discovers more of his potentials, he began encroaching on his reserved impossible areas and then adding more landmass on his possibility arena. He started believing that he can have electricity, he can farm with more sophisticated farm tools, that he can travel on land in automobiles and on air through planes. And because of his new discovery, he removed the word impossibility from these things and he started seeing them as possible ventures.
So practically saying, nothing is impossible. The word “impossibility” was used by man to refer to things that eludes his reality at the moment and as he increases his reality he limits his use of the word. The early man has different approach to that term. He doesn’t see impossibility as something that can never be done but he sees it as something yet to be done. So to him nothing is permanently impossible but only temporary. He belives that an impossible thing can become possible in the next minute, that’s why he always keeps his mind open to new ideas and is always ready to adjust to changes and adjust his reality.
But the question is; what is man’s perception of the word “impossible” in this modern era?.
Man has gravely allowed the usage of the word limit his undertakings and breakthrough. Man instead seeing impossible things as things that are yet to be, man now see them as things that cannot be and therefore they turn their back on it. Man has now allowed his own creation to undermine his ability and potential. Is quite a pity today that the things we term impossible are much more in number than the things we believe to be possible. We see the world as full of hard nuts that can never be cracked, whatever that poses a small challenge to us we immediately gives up on it and brand it impossible with a determination never to go back to it. The word “impossible” is killing us and the funny thing is that in natures sense everything is possible but we went ahead to bring this limitation on ourselves.
Impossibility is a deceitful word. I personally no longer has it in my dictionary, I only used it in this context to make a point. You can also choose to eradicate it from your own personal dictionary, it is of no good use. But where you chose to use it, then use it rightly. See it as something that is yet to be done and that can be done in any moment away not something that cannot be done.
No limit to human potentials and nature has not placed any limitations on us, the only limitations we have is the ones we created for ourselves.
I PUT IT TO YOU, THERE IS MORE TO YOU, YOU DONT KNOW. TRY YOURSELF OUT AND SEE HOW GOOD YOU ARE AND HOW GOOD YOU CAN BECOME.
