Goethe said, treat a man as he is and he will remain the way he is but treat a man the way he ought to be and he will grow to become that which he ought to be.
In as much as we are encouraged not to allow people define us. We also must be careful of the inscription we place on people. For some of us are not that willfully strong and can’t help it but to believe on people’s inscription on them which either works for their progress or against them depending on the nature of the inscription they have received.
Many of us abhors murderers and vows never to do such, but we have killed thousands of souls and destinies through the word of our mouth.
There is power in the spoken word which can work for us or against us depending on how it is directed.
It is pertinent therefore, that we mind what we say about others and the inscription we place on them, for it can make or brake them.
So next time you wanna say something about someone present or absent, be mindful of the words you use, for it can either help him to grow or diminishes him more and more.
Speak good of people and be carrier of goodwill messages.
